Project Overview
I had the opportunity to collaborate with a startup during its early-stage development, contributing to both its business and design strategies, during my time at IISc. I focused on web design, using Figma to create initial layouts and user interfaces for the company’s AI-powered fitness app and game platform.
Challenges
At the time, Figma was new to me, and my proficiency was still developing. This project became an opportunity to dive into web design and hone my skills. I had to adapt quickly and make design decisions that aligned with the app’s vision and target audience.​
Process
Though I wasn’t yet an expert in Figma, the project pushed me to experiment with the software, learning through trial and error. I relied on AI tools like ChatGPT for color and font combinations, using pastel tones to keep the design fresh and fitting for a fitness app. The platform itself, combining fitness and gaming, needed a user interface that was clean and motivating, so I focused on creating a design that was both functional and visually engaging.
Outcome
The result was a user-friendly, aesthetically aligned design for the fitness app, with a clean layout and a color palette that reflected the energetic, health-focused nature of the platform. The experience was instrumental in improving my design skills and deepening my understanding of user interface design.
